Your Questions, Answered
Doesn't RO waste water?+
The Kenai FreshStream uses an ultra-conservative 1:1 membrane ratio, dramatically less waste than legacy 4:1 units. The tankless FreshStream+ achieves 57.5% recovery.
Is RO water safe for drinking?+
Yes. RO is the same technology used in bottled-water plants. Kenai systems must be supplied with microbiologically safe water.
Can I connect it to my fridge?+
Absolutely β we run a dedicated line at install. Compatible with refrigerator and coffee maker water lines.
What's the difference between FreshStream and FreshStream+?+
FreshStream is a traditional 4 or 5-stage tank-based RO. FreshStream+ is tankless, vertical, more compact, and has an LED smart faucet that alerts you to filter changes.
